The World of Chinese Medicine – “The Extraordinary Journey of the Bronze Man” features the “Bronze Man” as a guide, leading children on an exploration of the mysteries of Chinese medicine through engaging stories, vivid illustrations, and comics.
The book is divided into four chapters:
Chapter 1 / “Bronze Man” and “Tong Ren” – Discovering how “bronze” (銅) and “same” (同), “person” (人) and “benevolence” (仁) are closely connected to Chinese medicine.
Chapter 2 / The Wisdom of “Balance” – Maintaining “balance” for lifelong health.
Chapter 3 / Chinese Medicine: Marvelous but Not Mysterious – Understanding the four diagnostic methods of TCM “Inspection, Listening and Smelling, Inquiring, Palpation” and herb combination principles “Monarch drug, Minister drug, Assistant drug, Guide drug”.
Chapter 4 / Benevolence, Compassion, and Healing Art – Experiencing the love and moral spirit behind Chinese medical culture (ethics).
Each chapter includes ”Did You Know?” sections, allowing young readers to enhance their knowledge of Chinese medicine culture in a fun and enjoyable way.
