Emotions
and Health TCM

– Students Mental Health Care

In recent years, the increasing incidence of mental health issues among students in Hong Kong has attracted significant attention from families, schools, and the broader community. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) emphasizes the importance of differential diagnosis and treatment, focusing on the body's mechanisms while advocating for the principle of “preventing disease before it occurs”. By understanding the TCM concepts of “emotions” and “will”, we can enhance our efforts in the prevention and treatment of psychosomatic disorders.
