The “小畫手畫中醫
series of exhibitions

(Hong Kong)

The “小畫手畫中醫” series of exhibitions, organized by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS), is currently on a touring exhibition. The WFCMS will jointly hold an artwork collection and exhibition in Hong Kong with us. This event is now open for creative artwork submissions from primary school students across Hong Kong, aiming to help students unleash their artistic creativity and showcase their understanding and experiences of traditional Chinese medicine culture.

Selected Works

  • Judged by a panel of traditional Chinese medicine and art experts appointed by the WFCMS.

  • Recipients will receive a certificate of participation from the WFCMS.

  • Selected works will be showcased at the Hong Kong “小畫手畫中醫” series exhibition.

  • There will be an opportunity for exchange and exhibit with the selected works from children and youth in mainland China.

  • Selected works may have the chance to be part of a touring exhibition in Paris at the UNESCO Headquarters, as well as in other overseas and mainland cities.

Artwork Requirements

  • Content: Creative themes can include, but are not limited to, traditional Chinese medicinal herbs, animals, medical instruments, historical figures, and other elements of traditional Chinese medicine.

  • Size: Must not exceed A3 paper size.

  • Format: Any format is acceptable, including watercolor, oil painting, sketching, etc.

  • Artwork Description: Participants must submit a brief description of their work (within 100 words).

Submission Deadline: October 7, 2024 (Monday)
